Hi Gaynor, we are sorry to see your 2 star review for our Smooth + Brighten gift that you received with your order. To ensure you create the required consistency when mixing the Daily Microfoliant powder with water, we recommend dispensing approx. ½ teaspoon of powder into damp hands. Then adding water gradually and rubbing palms together to foam up the powder until you reach a creamy, frothy consistency. This technique will prevent the powder washing away.
