The formula feels amazing and so soft and helps calm down redness which I am prone to. I also find it really helpful as a base for applying makeup, after wiping off excess with tissue. I had thought this would mean my makeup would slip early on throughout the day but it has stayed put (with Dermalogica primer, of course!) and looked far fresher throughout.
