retinol clearing oil Reviews

I was really looking forward to trying this product and when I did, it caused large breakouts on my chin and forehead! Very strange for a product that contains salicylic acid - so l looked at the ingredients and noticed the first ingredient is coconut alkanes. I’m usually very pleased with dermalogica products but this was a huge letdown.

This has reduced the redness in my spots and cleared up most of the smaller ones after just one use, I woke up and my skin felt amazing can't wait to use it again.

Just wow! I’m on day 10 of using this, my breakouts due to maskne. It’s pricey but 100% worth the price!

I wasn't sure about this at first, it seemed expensive and I didnt see instant results however it has been absolutely worth persevering. Now winter is here I am using a dot of intensive moisture cream on my cheeks but iver the summer I didnt need anything over the top. A word of warning though, stop using for about 3 nights before an eyebrow wax, I lost a little patch of skin on 2 occasions!

I never write reviews but had to write this one. I am 32 with minor adult acne and hypertensive skin so I react to almost everything!! I was super nervous to try retinol, let alone retinol AND salicylic acid, but I did, and started very gently... 2x a week, every third night, then every other night and I think I will stop here. Initially I broke out pretty badly mainly because my skin was purging and even then, nights when I used the retinol, spots really did clear overnight!! Purging is over, my skin is clearing up and I can see it slowly improving in texture and hyperpigmentation. Haven't noticed any improvement in my frown lines yet but I have faith! I definitely recommend and I will definitely repurchase!!

Really like this product and found it worked well for my skin (as my skin doesn't like glycolic acid or niacinamide) so was worried about the retinol. Thankfully it seems to like it and I'm glad it helps with my blemishes too. Do think its quite pricey unfortunately so definitely a luxury purchase for me.

I bought this product hoping it would help a bad acne flair up that I've been experiencing for a couple months, I'm quite acne prone anyway but this was out of control. I'm 35 so I tried this product, because I'd heard how good retinol is for acne, dark spots, fine lines etc. But literally it did nothing but make my spots worse. I thought perhaps it was just purging and would calm down so I kept using it for 5 weeks but literally every other day I would have a new spot. Horrendous, especially because now I have so many new dark spots to contend with. Really disappointing to spend so much money on something for it not to work and in fact make it worse. Obviously everyone's skin is different, but I really wouldn't recommend this. I wish I'd just tried a retinol from The Ordinary - much less money and apparently pretty good. HOWEVER, I just bought the AGE bright clearing serum from dermalogica and honestly I can see an improvement in my skin in just a few days. SO much better!
