“I bought this as a moisturiser for my insanely reactive rosacea skin which erupted about 6 months after having my second baby. My skin is different every day - dry, itchy, red, bumpy, spots - and what seems to help one day, does nothing the next day.
After loads of research I bought this as a moisturiser with the ultra-calming cleanser and mist. While it has an amazing soft, silky, matt finish, it left my skin still feeling dehydrated and dry/flaky in patches.
However, I booked a face mapping session with Dermalogica which was a game changer for me - the therapist told me how to use this in combination with other products to maximise its benefits. I can not recommend the face mapping enough to learn about how the Dermalogica products work together and how to get the most out of them. I now have the Cooling Gel moisturiser which I use before the barrier repair and it has cleared up my redness and dry patches in only a few days.”

“This is amazing - the only cream (I have tried many) that soothes and helps heal my stress eczema. Fabulous for winter skin that’s sore from the elements. Amazing for any king of distressed or unhappy skin - it’s a hug in a tube.
Within 24 hours my skin stops stinging, the redness reduces and the dryness eases. It’s my holy grail and I will never be without it. It’s also wonderful if you skin has become sensitised from other products; a few days of using barrier repair and you are ready to go.”
“I have dry skin and after reading the reviews I thought this would be a great addition to my skin care routine. I have used it for 2 weeks in the hopes I would see some improvement, but each time I use it overnight I wake up with noticeably tight-feeling and dry skin. When I use it during the day I have to compensate for it with a moisturiser and a moisturising SPF over too. I’m a big fan of Dermalogica products but this one is useless and a waste of money.”
