“I purchased this from a pharmacy in Qatar where i live, today. I am fairly new to Dermalogica products but love the super rich repair and intense recovery. I also like the pre cleanser and daily cleanser. I have the light vit c serum which is drying my skin so today on advice of the person in the pharmacy i bought this serum:
1. It stung my skin slightly as i put it on.. That faded after a few minutes
2. I have intensely itchy and red skin on my neck, chest and cheeks from it.. (hives on my neck) I have had to take an antihistamine tablet
3.the smell is not good...overpowering and makes me feel sick and headachy
This has never happened to me with any serum or cream before. I wish there were samples to try here before buying...as i have wasted QR499! More importantly i am lying awake itching with red skin and nervous if it gets worse.
I have not had a reaction to any other dermalogica product (just dryness from the light serum). I do have a reaction to strong scents.. Like ouds... Making my chest close... So perhaps it is the strong oils in this.
