Fernblock™ is derived from a natural fern that has adapted and evolved to protect itself from the harmful effects of UVA and UVB radiation. “Really like the product. The texture is excellent and I find I can use it instead of a foundation. However I wish iit was a little lighter in colour for my pale skin.”

“This product ruined my skin and it took two weeks to recover from using it. From the first application, it severely dried my face out and left me with sore patches and even minor scabbing around and under my nose. Not great as I started a new job and had to face new people with damaged skin. My skin showed signs of calming down immediately when I didn't use it on the forth morning. Initially, I used for three days hoping that it was just a coincidence, it wasn't though as all the symptoms reduced when I stopped using it. I spoke to an adviser from Dermacare Direct but they put it down to me having very sensitive skin! I did used to react to cheap products, which is why I spend alot on SPF. I had sensitive skin as a teenager but at the age of 43 my skin is better than ever, so the adviser I feel was making excuses not to refund. I'd advise anyone to try a tester before buying this.”

It may be a case where you have a sensitivity to this product’s formulation or one of the ingredients within it. Due to a history of sensitive skin there may be a common ingredient which is within the formulation of Heliocare Gelcream Color Light, in which your skin is sensitive to.
