“I was a bit disappointed with this eye cream as it has quite a dryish thick consistency that didn't seem to sit well in my eye area and went into creases on my lids. I liked the fact that it is a factor 30 and it didn't irritate my eyes which is a bonus but it's very unlikely I will repurchase.”

“I have been using this mineral eye uv defence spf 30 eye cream for nearly two years and it really does act as a good defence for your eye, it also gives you a coverage and doesn't feel heavy on the eyes.”

Hi, sorry to hear you're not pleased with the texture of the product. As it is a mineral sunscreen it has a much drier, matt finish as its sits on the skin to physically reflect UVA & UVB rays. SkinCeutical's do advise its colour as a universal tint to adapt to all skin types, with regards to the texture you might find applying a hydrating eye cream underneath helps it to smooth on and not clog. “I have previously used Dermalogica total eye care spf and this performs more or less the same way. Its after all an eye SPF and doesn't do miracles. it doesn't irritate my eyes in any way and blends in my dark skin very well if used in judicious amount.”

“This does not irritate my eyes and the colour blends in to give a natural look. I also use it on my lids and it stays put where applied. It is my eye protection of choice.”

“I’ve had a lifetime of itchy, red and watery eyes after the application of even the most ‘sensitive’ SPFs (all supermarket/ pharmacy brands, admittedly) So on the advice of someone who knows their stuff regarding skincare- I purchased the SkinCeuticals Mineral Eye UV Defense. It’s pricey for the size of the tube- but it is oh, so worth it. You only need to use a tiny amount anyway- but the texture, the coverage... most of all, the fact that my hyper sensitive eyes do not react in the slightest to the SPF (30) all have me blown away. I’ve never been so happy to have taken a leap of faith on a product that was previously unknown to me, and normally out of my price range. But a small price to pay, considering what I’ve spent on other creams and lotions over the years, that were ultimately unusable to me. This definitely proves to me that not all SPFs are created equally, and it’s worth it to spend a bit more on something that works. I’ll definitely be repurchasing this for years to come.”
