Hi, sorry to hear this. Its essential to only apply PFB once a day with one sweep then massaging in. Thick coats can cause stinging, redness, excessive dryness, peeling and skin discoloration. Mild flaking is normal. Don’t attempt to scrub off flaking skin. Pigmentation can take 3- 6 months to see improvement and often as its bringing deeper pigmentation to the top it can appear darker before it lightens. Its essential that you protect exposed areas with SPF daily and do not use any additional exfoliation. If you're a darker skin type (Fitzpatrick Skin Type 4, 5,6) your skin is more sensitive and in some rare cases may darken. Discontinue use if this occurs your skin is more sensitive and in some rare cases may darken. Discontinue use if this occurs. “I made sure I used this for a while before leaving a review. This product actually works! I'm a dark skinned woman with ingrown hairs and hyperpigmentation on my bikini line from shaving in my teens.
