“This is the second Humax FVP-5000T 500GB recorder I have bought. As it worked so well, I decided to put one in another room that doesn't have a smart TV, so now I have catch-up capabilities and extra recording available. It does have a couple of niggles, one being you have to delete cookies every so often, and the other is that the subtitles sometimes appear after rewinding a program, but you just turn them off with the remote - No Biggie.. Better value than others out there and more recording capabilities too..”

“Easy to set up and use with very clear instructions on the TV screen to follow. You do need to connect to the internet to get full TV Guide and some other options don't work without it either. Not a problem in our situation tho'. Very useful to be able to tape 4 channels at the same time as watching another.”
