“Although the sample tile showed an apparent random pattern, when coming to lay them it was obvious that tiles had to match, otherwise they looked odd. Hence I spent lots of time trying to get best fit. Unfortunately I found 10% of tiles with what looked like single loops of pile that had not been finished properly so little bumps of yellow pile were on the surface. Afraid that these could be caught by furniture etc and pull out, I had to trim them flush. I am hoping this will not become an issue overtime. These tiles came in packs of 16 and as I only wanted 42 for my room, 3 packs gave the 10% extra recommended, however, with the pattern match issue the extra tile could not be used as they did not match the pattern laid. Would have been a big issue if they were sold in 20s as I would have had to buy 18 more than needed and would not even been able to use as spares if I wanted to lift a couple to deep clean. Would not recommend this particular tile due to poor pile finish and difficult pattern match.”
