“Lovely little farm and there’s enough to do to fill a morning. Animals look well looked after and cared for. My 2 year old loved going into the goats paddock and feeding them up close!”
“Our 4 year old and 2 year old loved it but only enough to sustain a half day visit. Make sure you ask staff about getting a closer look with the animals. Smoothing owls was the highlight. Parking a long way from the attraction (good 10-15 min walk). Ignore google map navigation - takes you to the middle of nowhere and nowhere to turn around in the narrow LANES!”
“Kids loved feeding the animals, ages 1 to 8. Their highlights were stroking the guinea pigs on their laps, feeding the greedy goats, watching the tortoise and having a picnic while watching the steam trains. We have visited after taking the journey on the steam train previously, this time we drove straight there. About a 5 minute walk from the main line train station car park which is expensive at £5.80. The farm isn't that big but combined with a picnic and watching the steam trains we were still there about 3 hrs. Recommended.”
