“Best soft play in the area- mixture of soft play frame and themed dress up role play areas. Our 3 & 5 year old were in heaven on a cold winters day. Coffee for the grown ups is great, a huge selection of healthy and naughty treats. The only real downside is the new 90min allocated ticket time limit hurts compared to previously unlimited visiting slots but at least now there’s sufficient parking on a weekend and plenty of space indoors as they limit numbers. At each visit they’ve added more role play eg new police station, Romany caravan, Weber bbq etc. really beautifully looked after, spotlessly clean and lovely touches of staff interaction with the kids. Very impressed.”
“I visited Play Train for the first time today with my three children, plus my sister and her three little ones. The kids aged 6, 5, 4, 3 & 2 had a brilliant time and soon disappeared just after we arrived at 10am and only returned back to our table for sips of milkshake or nibbles of snacks. We were there 6 hours without a single child asking to leave! There is so much for them to do and it's a great lay out with plenty of seating for adults and bouncers/highchairs for tiny ones. The prices were reasonable for entry as well as food. Only a couple of reasons for 4* instead of 5* review which is the staff situation on the food till & lack of kitchen staff. The ladies who served us were lovely but they clearly were in need of a couple more pairs of hands as the food ordering process was not as smooth as it could have been and the food quality wasn't the best (tasty panini but unfortunately it was cold). Also the toilets look a little run down and there was loo roll missing in one cubicle which wasn't replaced the whole time we were there. Hand dryer wasn't working and the floor by the sinks was wet every time I went in - easily done with little hands using them all day but more frequent staff checks would have stopped it gettinf quite so wet. We will definitely be returning and are really pleased we visited today!”
“We took my 3yr old son here and he enjoyed it, the admission fee was very reasonable as we had 3 adults and a child. Cafe had variety of food/drink to cater for most people and the facilities were ok. Will visit again in the future.”
“A lovely play centre. I visit at least once a week with my two boys aged 2 and 4, and they never tire of it. Loads to do with a big play frame, building zone, baby area, loads of toys and an imaginative play area. The food is all freshly cooked on site and the coffee is great. Staff responsive to suggestions and the whole area is clean and well kept. Extras like the disco and bubble machine keeps things fresh. Never too hot or too cold like other soft plays can be!”
