“My family (from Southport) have been regular visitors to Worden Park for many years but will probably not visit again as a new parking restriction has been put in place. You can now only park (for free) for 2 hours - the park is huge with many attractions within it so it would be impossible to enjoy all of this within 2 hours! I spent many days out here with my young family but will not be bringing my grandchildren all that way for a max 2 hour stay which gives no time at all to see everything in the park. What is the point of having a fabulous attraction then drastically limiting the time visitors can spend there? Makes no sense at all! The Council need to seriously rethink their parking restrictions and allow families the time to enjoy all the facilities available in this beautiful park.”
“The park itself is very well equipped and maintained, kids play area is excellent, the model railway is good fun (donations to take a ride) and crazy golf £2. One down side, the Icecream kiosk is the biggest ripoff ever, £3.50 for a single cone, Come on get a grip, your ripping off kids. You don't deserve the custom.”
“We go to Worden Park quite regularly. It’s our fave! Huge enclosed playground, cafe, little steam trains, plenty of fields, lovely gardens, a maze... what’s not to love!”
