“Yum yum world is doing so may things right. Great business idea with friendly dedicated staff. Children have fun socialising and being active. Always a smile and a bargain to see. Thankyou”
“Excellent times at laser tag. :) Simon, Neil and Katrina have made it the best birthday party for our 10 year-old boy and his friends. The arcade room is amazing and the range of soft play with a great pirate ship, toddler area, and front foam cube bit with air canon makes it the best place in town for children. The cafe serves very nice hot food and drinks. Couldn't be happier how the party went. Happy place for everyone x”
“Filthy. Absolutely shocked to find it like this at 10 AM on a Saturday. The place hasn't been cleaned for months. I dont understand the good reviews. Yeah it is a nice play area but 0 health and safety precautions. I will report it to local authorities as this is absolutely not acceptable. The floor/soft areas are full of filth, diry pieces of sponge, old biscuit crumbs, ancient dust etc. Definitely not suitable for children under 3 as there are many chocking hazards. I would never go back!”
“This place could be great but it’s just so dirty!! Desperately needs a deep clean. Especially the baby area - it seems like it isn’t cleaned at all - there’s debris everywhere so it cannot be regularly hoovered.
I hope they realise this soon, would be a Shame to lose another spot in rugby town because people have to go elsewhere!”
“Visited a few days ago with my granddaughter. Staff are lovely but the play area needs a good clean. Very dirty. Toilets also dirty. One cubicle had a door missing. The place was very quiet and the staff could have used the time to do some cleaning. Shame because it has great potential”
“I visited today with my 10 month old grandson , I was charged £3.95 ( apparently overcharged according to web site) this would have been acceptable except the 0-2 years area was very very dirty ! Lumps of green fibre from mats, thick debris along the edges , old sweet wrappers and plenty of dust , the knees on my jeans were dirty and my grandson (being 10 months ) picked up debris and straight into mouth ! I stayed for 15 mins as I was not willing to risk him eating or crawling in it anymore. Contrary to website , the areas are not cleaned or disinfected after each customer … simple housekeeping needed , vacuum , wash all areas that babies and children use , yes the concept is good but this is not acceptable for such a new venture ! I put this to a member of staff on leaving , hopefully this was taken on board but I very much doubt it by her “ sorry about that “ response, come on Yum Yum world please clean up your act before a baby crawls or eats something they really shouldn’t , basic health and safety is the least we expect for our children .”
“I was looking for somewhere fun for my boy 7 and girl 4 to burn off some energy and new. They'd been to adventure zone umpteen times and love it but just fancied somewhere new. I'm so glad we found yum yum world my son gets easily bored and when he found out they had an PlayStation I thought he'd be glued to it but he was running around and loved doing somersaults into the sponge pits. They have 4 separate areas and an under 2s area. My daughter loved firing the sponge balls out of a cannon. Overall really pleased kids definitely want to go back and wore the kids out. Only downside was it was warm inside not sure if they had air con but then again it had been particularly hot of late. Food is reasonably priced and loads of choice on the sweets. Slush was about £1.50 a cup and fresh coffee £2.00 service was a little slow, one person seemed to be at til as well as preparing food ordered. Plenty of seats and room so not all crammed into one area. Friendly, helpful staff and definitely would go again .”
