“We came here weekly when we lived on the quayside. My toddler loved the children's area on the second floor. We could easily spend 2 hours here. My baby loved the sensory room that is free to use. It's so perfect on a rainy day. The galleries often do interactive displays for kids to play with. They have great half term activities too! Also, can't miss out on view point from the top.”
“I have been here a few times with friends and with family and I really enjoy this attraction! The viewing deck on the 5th floor is breathtaking! It is the best view of Newcastle! Then the rest of the building is a contemporary art gallery. They change the pieces on display every month or so which means every time you go it's different! Most people do not enjoy contemporary art and I also find it very hard to understand but by opening my mind I quite enjoyed looking through the galleries. There is also a kid zone and a sensory room next to the library which is a great place for the kids! The cafe on the bottom floor is good. Not many choices but a nice cheap lunch for all of us. It's completely accessible but might be a bit boring for babies. Definitely will be coming back for the next exhibitions!”
