“Amazing place! The staff are so friendly and always have time for a chat to tell you all about what’s going on and all about the animals. You can get such a close experience with the walkthrough enclosures one of my favourite places!”
“We had a wonderful day out here! The Walkthrough encounters are an amazing idea, allowing you to get up close to the animals, the kids absolutely loved feeding the wallabies, spent so much time watch the lemurs and got the pet giant rabbits! All the staff are so friendly and knowledgable about all the animals they work with and you can really see how much they care about them. We will definitely be going back the kids absolutely loved it!”
“Free parking, was very busy when we went due to first really sunny day of the year. Well signposted to where attractions are located. Quite a few empty animal areas. There are penguins, meerkats, lemurs, giant rabbitits, wallabies, giant tortoise, goats, red squirrels, zebras, pigs and a few more species to see. All the attractions were great and if you time it right you get to see the animals being fed. Pay extra money and you can actually walk with the animals.
The only faults were the cafe and the food they offered were really overpriced . A wafer thin pizza with a very small amount of cheese and pepperoni sausage over £10, can of coke £1.85, cup of tea £2.75 the pizza base was as thin as a crisp.
Also the toilet facilities were not very clean and portaloos around the site were a mess. Worst of all the two baby changing areas did not look as if they had been cleaned for a long time. Would I go again yes if they improved their food and cleaning regime of public toilets. Also had a member of staff to supervise under 2 soft play area. There were children over 5 playing in this area who were a danger to really young babies playing with their mothers.”
