“I reserved Crazee Bongo's for my kids' 5th and 4th birthday parties and had also planned for Heroes Assemble to perform (spiderman act); the venue was completely aware of this and said there was no problem. However, a staff member protested to me midway through the Heroes Assemble performance that they were not permitted to be there, I requested to speak to the manager because I had been assured there would be no problem when I had booked the party. When the owner (Kate Mason) approached me, I could sense she was hostile, she stated I hadn't informed them that Spider-Man would be there because if I had, she as the owner would have known about it and it would have been in the diary. She accused me of lying multiple times and said I hadn't told anyone. After five minutes of back-and-forth argument, she then rolled her eyes at me, I said I thought she was rude and unprofessional, to which she responded that I was aggressive and how could I see if she had rolled her eyes because the room was dark! (I was not aggressive in any way; I was just shocked that this woman was actually arguing with me at my children's party). I've never encountered anyone so insolent, let alone from someone who states they are the company's owner! This is a condensed account of the obnoxious behaviour Kate displayed toward me (a paying customer!) The other young women employed there were lovely and we encountered no problems. However, I will no longer use or recommend Crazee Bongos due to the unneeded stress that Kate created.”
“If I could rate as 0 stars I would but had to choose one!!
On arrival the children visited the girls toilets and found human feces on the walls and urine splashed all over the floors.
We stayed as the children were super excited to be playing and burning some energy.
We ordered a Children’s meal priced at £5.95 each and was presented with uncooked chicken nuggets which was present with red when cut up (pleased I checked my child’s meal) on returning the food I was presented with a grunt. Another member of staff then came over and said that they are all probed and were 75degress and was a vein I could see but would be given a re cooked meal.
Once it arrived we had lost interest on the food but arrived cooked this time.
We were then visited by a staff member and asked if our drink was finished with and could they take it which I stated it’s half full and I’m not finished to then be watched by the staff.
Overall not great and will not be visiting again”
