“Although the museum is great it is not equipped fully with baby facilities. I had baby food with me that I asked the cafe staff if they had a baby food microwave . (I had bought food from the cafe for me and my 5 year old). They said they don't cater for babies and don't warm food. I tried to explain that this was the only food I had for her other than milk but they didn't care. I left the museum and went to the train station and the cafe in there warmed it up no problem. Don't think I'll be going back any time soon. Not until they are fully equipped with baby facilities.”
“It was so fun for me and my 2 year old. It was very informative and I loved learning the local history of the North East. They have a wonderful section for children on the ground floor. I highly recommend coming here if you have a day to spend.”
“It was a great day out at the museum! We started on the ground floor. It was a detail of ancient times in Newcastle. It was very interesting! On the same floor was the Fun Fair which operated by coins. All the activities were very authentic and fun! The second floor was more history of Newcastle. The third floor was our favourite! It was the Science Maze and had many hands on things. It was great fun for everyone. It can take 2-3 hours to go through. We loved it!”
