“Not very child friendly for younger or very small children.
Very run down, dirty and not very clean. Toilets smelt of sewerage and were right near the play area which also stunk of sewerage, most bits of equipment were broken on the play area as well which was very dangerous.
Most animals weren’t really around, cages empty and you weren’t aloud to feed them and couldn’t get anywhere near any of them to touch them either, like the horses etc. some cages were broken and animals could easily escape and all the keepers in uniform we came across were rather ignorant and not up for conversation.
The food in the cafe was okay, the ham was very fatty, crisps were stale and I had go back to get a fresh packet that hadn’t been already opened. Prices were fair and reasonable but the hot chocolate was made with water so wasn’t the nicest and I didn’t drink it.
Overall a very disappointing experience and certainly not worth £6 per adult for entry. We will not be returning.”
“Came here with my 7 and 5 year old today! Awesome day out and lovely activities like holding an owl and watching meetcats being fed! Entrance prices are brilliant too if you are like me and on a budget! Definitely coming again! Fab place!”
