Interesting mix of factory exhibition, chocolate museum and fun around chocolate. The 4D cinema show was good as was the other rides. Cafe good and gift shop tempting. Not so pleasant on a hot summer's day especially buying chocolate related presents to take away. Our kids 6-8 enjoyed it immensely.

We arrived at Cadburys world 30 mins prior to it opening after a long car journey only to find no toilets are available until it opened at 10am. Really needs a block of toilets or access to toilets somewhere on the ground for the hundreds that visit and were all sat around the car park. We ended up driving up and down bournville village looking for loos and ended up asking a lovely lady who ran an antiques shop if my four year old could use her loo. Loved our day out but was not a happy mummy. Honestly if he had wanted a wee he would have done it up the building at the main entrance I was so mad that they would not let us access toilets.

A fantastic interactive journey through the history of Cadbury chocolate! If you’re looking for a factory tour you may be disappointed, but there is plenty to see and do. The Chocolate Making zone in the main tour is a real highlight, where you can watch the chocolatiers in action. They do a demonstration, you can peek into the room where they’ll be decorating everything from shoes to plaques, and make sure you pick up a pot of melted chocolate with your choice of toppings too. Elsewhere, the 4D Chocolate Adventure is a MUST – short enough to capture the attention of little kids, but full of exciting twist and turns. Make sure you save some room for the gift shop too – there’s everything from chocolate footballs and shoes, to a chocolate teapot! All made on site too, so makes a perfect gift.
