“Visited here with 15 yr old granddaughter what a lovely day ,although it was a very hot day and was very busy no problem as shaded by the trees and the one way system made getting round easy and also meant didn’t miss anything ,The bears were amazing, Did not know this was here until saw it on Paul o Grady show well worth the visit, reasonable entry price .”
“Wildwood was an absolutely brilliant day out and well worth the drive from SE London! There is so much to see and do (for all ages). I couldn't recommend this place enough and I am sure we will go back again.”
“We visited Wildwood whilst on holiday in the Margate area. Our party consisted of 2 pensioner, one with mobility issues, my 3 children aged 2, 4 and 12 and myself. Every member of staff we had contact with was cheerful, polite and helpful, they spoke to the children and adults and really enhanced out visit. The bears were amazing and watching them in their enclosure and learning how they were rescued was totally awesome. The play area was well maintained, imaginative and suitable for all of my children. Talks on various animals were taking place through the day and although we missed most of these the staff still talked to us about the animals and answered our questions. Disabled access was very good (although obvious getting a wheelchair across the rope bridge over the bears was not an option, alternative route was available.). We were lucky enough to visit during the Saxon weekend and watched a enactment of a viking/Saxon battle. We also spoke to many people in the Saxon village who told the children about the Saxon way of life and allowed them to grind flour and try out the shields and weapons. The only disappointing thing about Wildwoods in that is not nearer to where we live. Highly recommend visiting!!!”
