“We visited recently as part of a group, I decided to leave my toddler and baby with my husband, and take my 9 year old only - I'm thankful I did! There were a number of SEN children on this group visit, and this didn't seem to be catered for by the staff, neither did the age range. I also found that a member of gallery staff took it upon themselves to follow myself, another parent and our children around the gallery for some unknown reason, it made for a very uncomfortable experience. The cafe design looks lovely, however the lady working was very rude, an awfully abrupt manner, and no customer service skills - I ordered a coffee, she then stood there staring at me behind the till . . . I said that's all thanks as it was getting a little strange, and she said in a very condescending, and patronising tone milk? We also heard the staff in the cafe moaning about the group they had in the gallery, with other staff. As we had been the only group in, it was very obvious as to whom they were speaking about. Overall, a very disappointing experience.”
