“We did this as a family of 5, youngest being 8 and it was brilliant fun. The guards were really good and getting to see the whole prison and have lunch in the canteen was really fun. We all enjoyed it.”
“My daughter came here today with a holiday club. She is autistic and struggles in social situations- she can get a bit hypo or excitable. Whilst I know this can be annoying for others I would not expect a tour guide to humiliate her. He not only told the children that they could, ‘f off’ if they didn’t behave but he also singled my 14 year old daughter out asking, ‘is something wrong with you?’ And ‘do you have mental problems!’ It’s a disgrace. 60 years a prison officer he kept saying, this human being needs retraining!”
