Standalone Farm Reviews

we want to bring Grandkids 5 and 7 but all I saw was babies and small children. Is there anything apart from the playground that is suitable for older ones.

My 2 year old thoroughly enjoyed this farm and I was very impressed too. Plenty of animals to see and interact with - we met the donkeys, fed a lamb, groomed a pony and held a guinea pig. You aren't able to feed or stroke many of the animals outside of these sessions which I felt was a positive thing for the animals as the staff are on hand to make sure they don't come to any harm. The play area was also fantastic, and the model railway very entertaining. There is a small cafe which is very reasonably priced. We liked it so much we bought a family membership.

We have been to standalone a couple of times since our little one was born 2 yrs ago, and each time has been equally as dissapointing, £7 per adult isn’t crazily xpensive, but it is when you only get 3/4 different animals and a few birds in the mix to see, i would say that you could walk round in half an hour then it gets pretty boring!! Even the cafe is ridiculous prices, £3 per small slice of cake!!! So....needless to say....we certainly won’t be visiting this year anytime soon!!
