Broom House Farm and Forest Adventure Reviews

I don’t mind it here. Why? Lovely cakes in coffee shop, place for children to run around safely, staff in cafe are friendly-ish, and you can see a few piglets with their mothers and poultry before it hits the meat counter And we didn’t mind the wood ‘adventure’ because it was quiet! But... The photos make it look amazing- it’s not. There is ONE zip wire, ONE slide, 3 swings, and one climbing/ tunnel construction. It was enough to keep my 4 year old busy for a little while, but older children will want more. As an adult, I wanted more! You had to wait to use the swings, wait for zip wire, and daughter wouldn’t go on rope bridge when other kids are on as it was her first time and she wanted to take her time. Slide was very muddy and wet - and as it was July, waterproof trousers would have been best option or scruffy sweat pants but we hadn’t expected sloppy mud - and weren’t dressed to get wet...skipped that one...as did other kids!

We are regular customers at broom house cafe for breakfast on Sunday’s and it’s the best breakfast I’ve ever had!!! The bacon butter is to die for!! Everything about the food I can not fault whatsoever!! Staff are very very friendly and I love the warm atmosphere of the cafe. The farm shop is brilliant, a little pricey but you have to pay for quality! The butchers are very friendly and very helpful!! There’s an added bonus of animals dotted around for the kids to enjoy and also forest adventure which isn’t expensive at £18 for 2 adults and 2 children to spend as much time as you want in the woodland area having fun doing the activities and the numerous climbing frames, slides and zip wires there’s so much to do! Can not grumble! I think some people expect too much! Very easy access for pushchairs and wheelchairs and also an outdoor seating area for summer! Thanks again for your outstanding customer service! We will be back soon!!

Me, my husband and our 4 year old visited broom house farm yesterday and we had such a fun day. When we paid we where given a little activity sheet to find all the fairys hidden in the woods. There is diffrent activity sheets for diffrent ages. There is lots of different play areas in the woodland adventure. There is a few farm animals to see. The food in the cafe was amazing and the staff where really nice. When my daughter had found all the fairys she took her sheet back to the cafe where she got a bag of sweets as a prize. We will definitely be going back :)
