“We purchased a 3 month membership for 4 people in October 2022. During this time we visited the site twice and were very disappointed on both occasions.
On the first visit, much of the site was closed. There was no basketball, no ninja run and two trampolines cordoned off. We went early in the morning and it was freezing cold (there must have been a heating issue). Lots of teenagers were running around doing what they wanted and the staff who were all very young and unenthusiastic did not seem to care what people were doing or if they were following the rules.
On the second visit, a part of the roof above the basketball actually fell down whilst we were there. Thankfully it did not hit anyone, but strangely no staff came to do anything about this and people were still let on. There had clearly been a leak as there was also patches of water everywhere.
After this we decided not to renew as it was clearly not safe or fit for purpose and the staff cared very little about what was going on site. Unfortunately, cancelling the membership was not easy as the staff did not pick up the phone after trying multiple times, so we found a form to fill in on their website.
It turns out however that they claimed not to be able to see this and have charged us for another month, despite showing them proof of attempted contact. Instead I have had to claim via VISA to get this money back, it shouldn't have to come to this.
A terrible experience on site and a terrible customer service response from Laura. Never will be returning again.”
