Great place. Lots to do. But alot more expensive than stated here. £9.95 for any child under 16 and £2.99 for adults

Took my little girl (2yrs 6 months) here today with my mum. Excellent play facilities, and good access to the animals in the barn, although it would be nice to see a small animals petting area (rabbits, guinea pigs and such like). We had lunch in the tearoom where there was a good selection of food on the menu for both grown ups and children (although some half jacket potatoes on the children's menu wouldn't go amiss). Probably wouldn't be quite as fun if it were raining, as a lot of the play facilites and obviously some animal areas are outdoors, but what farm would be?! Will definitely be revisiting once the summer season hits, and probably before. Signage in the local area could be improved massively. Post code took us completely the wrong direction from the roundabout, then you completely miss the drive if you are going south on the A534. Best thing to do is put "Wheelock Hall Farm Shop" into google maps rather than the post code. If you're approaching from M6 J17, make sure you take a right at the roundabout when you actually see the sign for the tea room and farm shop in the field. The positioning of the sign at the roundabout is incredibly misleading!

This is advertised as a farm however I saw little evidence of any animals outside, there were some in doors how ever the pens were not clean . My daughter and myself took my 2 grandchildren for what we thought was going to be a fun day out it was far from that , we went into the cafe and ordered food and drinks, we then found a table which was dirty so much so that I cleaned it with baby wipes so that my granddaughter could eat her meal , the floor was also dirty and covered in food. The food order took over 40 minutes to arrive and my daughter s was cold I would not recommend this place at all and certainly not recommended it to anyone.

We visited the farm yesterday 5/9/16 with our 5year old grandson. We were very impressed with the facilities. Imaginative planning and equipment with plenty of choice for play. Food, shop and toilets with good hand washing facilities. The animal areas were clean and animals well cared for. The high light was the barn with bales to climb on ....real childhood stuff! Thanks for a great time. P.s. Price is very reasonable compared with other open farms.
