“I would highlight recommend visiting here with your children. We visited in the summer of 2021 when there were strict restrictions still in place due to Covid, this meant a lot fewer visitors attended during each time slot which meant no queues and easy access to everything. We watched a performance on the lawn by the entrance which explained how knights were trained, visited the Ravens, walked the ramparts, saw the museum displays and visited the Crown Jewels. Our children aged 11 & 7 loved it. The lack of crowds made everything very accessible and there were loads of interactive exhibits in the White tower that they loved. The Crown Jewels are well displayed and there’s a moving walkway so people can’t crowd around the key pieces. Overall we were there for around 4 hours and there was plenty to keep us entertained with friendly beefeaters on hand to answer questions.”
“Very interesting day, loads to see and do. The staff were also very friendly and very willing to help and answer questions. The lines were quite long at times but moved quickly. May become quite tedious for younger children but perfect if they're into history.”
“My Dad came to London for a week and visiting the Tower of London was high on his list. We spend a great 4 hours visiting every single corner. The Crown Jewels are really impressive and being a fan of the Tudors, it was a great experience.”
“Came here with my family with a tour guide. Definitely recommend getting a guide! Fascinating stuff! I felt as if I was transformed back into time. Definitely a MUST when visiting London. There is so much to see so I recommend going early and prioritising what you want to see. The food is great as well! Brilliant place to visit!”
“Really good day out at the Tower of London. So much to see and do. Great value for money too. My only concern was that by the end of the afternoon my kids were getting a little fed up looking around. Overall though - brilliant place to take your family and catch a glimpse of the history of London.”
