“I purchased 30m of 'Tendon' 6mm aramid (Technora sheathed) accessory cord to use as an emergency rap-line. I beleive it to be an excellent alternative to the popular 'Edelrid' variety; it's only 21g per meter Vs 31g p.m. for the Edelrid. It also has a minimum strength of 17daN (17kN) in terms of static-force, just don't fall on it ;-)....in other words, it is 'super-good-enough' for an emergency abseil/rapell.”
