“I’ve been struggling to find a non aggressive down turned shoe that wasn’t aimed at beginners. Really pleased with the fit and technical construction, a little bit high around the ankle but they have softened up with use. I also welcome the subtle styling as so many shoes now are horrifically garish. The rubber it pretty grippy and seems to be holding up good into the bargain.”

“My foot fit perfectly in the old 5.10 Anasazi VCS's, tried the new 5.10's but they're just not the same. Found out Unparallel was started by ex 5.10 employees and the designs/rubber are based on old 5.10's. Researched the sizing a bit, decided to go with my street shoe size (12uk) for a comfortable trad fit, however, this was slightly roomy, so I returned and went half a size down to 11.5uk. Nice and snug out of the box, and only took a session or two to break in. If I wanted more of a performance fit, I would probably look at going a whole size down from your street shoe size. I see this more as a training shoe though which I will spend long periods of time in, as opposed to a performance shoe.”

“Now on my 3rd pair, all from Dark Ventures. Last pair lasted 12 months indoor climbing 3 times a week (My footwork isn’t subtle!). New pair now worn in after only 3 sessions, really comfortable shoe and great rubber. Website easy to use and quick delivery.”
