“Comfortable and easy to wear. Perhaps has a bit less edging ability on small holds than a much stiffer and sharper-edged shoe, but has great coverage for toe and heel hooks and is a decent all-rounder. Particular shout-out to Unparallel rubber for volume smears.”

“Goes onto my foot like it’s vacuum packed and focuses precision loading at the toe. The heel is a huge improvement on the Mocassym and feels very secure. I hope the 4-5mm of rubber lasts well, because I love these shoes, and slippers don’t often resole well, so if I had a suggestion for improvement make the sole 6mm.”

“Last from the past feels familiar and great. Pretty comfortable out the box (I didn't go too aggressive on sizing, 1 size down from street - I could have done .5 more but was looking for a comfortable daily shoe). A couple of climbs in and they've broken in great, heel feels better than old version and rubber on toe a good addition, while keeping the soft and flexible feel from moccs of old.”

“Although I was a little skeptical having climbed in 5.10 moc's for years, I'm impressed with how these feel right out of the box. Build quality looks good, and although I thought the rubber toe patch would feel clumsy, it's soft and feels like if anything it'll just help reduce the amount the shoe bags out by. The heel feels bomber so this is a big upgrade from the 5.10 moc and i'm looking forward to seeing how it does. I'm a street UK 8.5 and have sized these down to a UK 7. Not sure I could go smaller. Unparallel sent me some useful advice on sizing recommending that the UPMocc be sized at least 1 full size below street for a comfortable fit and smaller according to preference, which seemed to hold true. I'll be interested to see if they stretch out as much as the 5.10 moc. Definitely looking forward to seeing how they go after a proper break in but I'm initially really impressed.”
