“arrived as required. driver helped to put it where I needed- grateful. wood burns hot , good sizes i.e. some thinish most chunky fit well in my new fire. it hasn't been really cold enough to give it a good testing but I can really tell the difference in warmth in my living room with just one log burning at a time. With all this wet weather and wind some of the logs got damp- so when I burnt them they took awhile to get alight and then just went like glowing charcoal. So you need to really keep them dry. or as I did put them in the oven for about 5min. and they were fine. This is my first time with a log fire so I am learning.

“Packaged for convenience and value. The wood is top quality, clean and long burning. One log will last at least an hour on my stove and the house warm and cosy all over. Might seem a bit expensive at first look but after trying several other sources this is the best value.”

Communication superb, delivery super-fast, polite and efficient.
The product comes well packaged in a tall pallet. The delivery truck uses a Tail-lift and a hand pallet-truck to deliver - so as long as you have a smoothish surface the driver can usually get it to where you need it.
The pallet is lined sides and top with protective polythene so it will stand outside for a while safely.
The wood is densely packed and dry. I tested mine with a moisture meter which read under 15% - ideal for wood burners.
I have a RAIS Viva98 wood burner and the wood burns exceptionally well without standing to dry out any further - about 82% efficient. There is a small amount of white fine ash left in the mornings - perfect.
Dalby's price for this wood was exceptionally good and better value than anywhere else on the web - combine this with exceptional quality and service, what more could you want!!
