“One bag of logs were fine, clean and well seasoned, however the other bag was timber which had probably been stored in a damp area and consequently had an amount of mould growth. Although this may not affect its burn efficiency it does not have the same aesthetic appearance when stacked in the fireplace”

We do not store our wood in damp areas. Mould sometimes naturally occurs as the wood is naturally drying. This is unavoidable but however it is extremely rare.
If were not satisfied with the product, a simple phone call to us and we would have gladly exchanged the bag for a replacement.

“As I use this wood for cooking in my pizza oven I decided to get the smaller cut to that bought last time. At the moment not too sure that I've made the right decision as a lot of the wood looks like scrag ends, not to the same standard as before.”
Thanks for the review. This product is extra thin cut as described in the product information. The pieces are slightly bigger than kindling making the product very easy to light and gets up to temperature very quickly. If you find this product is too small then i would recommend using the thin cut or standard cut. Please inform us of your results when you have tried the product.
