“I've used 3mm Clear High Impact Acrylic sheets to replace the windows in my summerhouse. The old ones (not sure what they were made of)had become semi-opaque, yellow tinged, brittle and dull. I'm stunned by the transformation.
When I removed the protective covering on the new sheets they were amazingly clear and unblemished, not a scratch or distortion anywhere. They are as clear as best quality glass but much lighter and should have the added bonus of being able to resist the impact of any low-flying dogs or children.
I'm delighted with the massive boost my new windows have made to interior light levels, giving a crystal clear view of my garden especially of visitors to my birdfeeders and the overall appearance of the summerhouse.”
