The fixed glass panel of a walk in shower shattered spontaneously. A quote from bathstore to replace would have required a fitter and cost £700. We cleaned out the retaining channel and were able to flex the acrylic panel into the channels bottom, top and slide into side. Added aluminium strip to the free edge and channel top and bottom for added rigidity. Filled gaps with clear bath sealant.
