“I dont think this review is going to win me any prizes, but here goes.....
I spoke to someone at CPS regarding suitablity of the product for my needs. They were extreemly helpful and informative. So, I ordered 6 sheets of the composite sheeting, cut to exacting sizes.
Delivery was pretty quick and I was happy. Until I looked at the delivery. Instead of six sheets ( max length about 220 Cm ). I got a huge pallet with two sheets on at about 300 x 150! Ie one and a half sheets uncut.
Fair play, I called them and the collected the sheets that day, apologising and saying Portsmouth branch would sort it out. Hey presto, the sheets were collected within 2 hours. I thought "everybody makes mistakes" and they seemed to be jumping to it to sort the problem out.
The cut sheets didnt arrive the next day as promised. But they did arrive the day after that (Friday). However, I only got FIVE sheets not six. Also, one of the five sheets was exactly 100Cm too long! :(
Another call to Plymouth and Im told, theres no one there to sort it until Monday! So a *Grumblegram* Email is fired off.
Monday morning I get a phone call apologising for the cockup and hey presto, by 11.00 theres another lorry here with the piece I was missing and another on to replace the sheet that was too long. Later that day I fitted the sheets and they were absolutely spot on for size! They looked good too!!!
I have often said that its easy to run a company when things are going to plan, Its how the company, and those within it, handle things when it all falls apart. Ok there were couple of errors made, but overall the service was good. The product was also good.
Finally, the acid test. Would I use them again? Why, yes on reflection they did all they could when things went wrong and the product was good.”
