“I was bought Dandy Smoke for Xmas and treated it as though it were a non-alcoholic spirit, slowly sipping at room temperature without other ingredients or ice. A delightfully complex experience. I have just bought Pure Hibiscus which I could not drink 'raw' (too astringent for me), so I did as instructed and mixed with lemonade and ice. Quite pleasant, and am going to try different mixers over the coming months. I do not rush these things.”

“My pregnant daughter had the Hibiscus one when out for a meal and mentioned that it was the best non alcoholic drink she'd had. I ordered it and have also bought the mixers that are suggested in the mocktail recipes. I have still to give them to her. Delivery was super fast and the bottle was well packed.”

“I have been tasting a variety of the more grown up non alcoholic drinks and Crossip is definitely my new small drinks cabinet. Initially I thought it a bit sweet but now by adding just sparkinglkng water, soda water, large bits of ice and chunky lemon or grapefruit it is a zesty aperatif worthy of any swanky cocktail bar in downtown Manhattan. I like the fact that you only need to use 25mg per serving and so this makes it both cost effective and sustainable in Terry’s of bottles and postage etc. Last night I went to a dinner party and took my non alco drinks cabinet with me with everything I needed! - it was a hit and me and my friend managed very easily to stay off the booze but still be the coolest part of the party.”

“The actual drink itself is very strong,as I found out,but having it mixed with lemonade or tonic, it is very enjoyable and leaves a lovely warm feeling in your throat and after a while you can taste all sorts of spices and fruits. Personally I enjoyed it very much. D.Jobson.”

“Unfortunately, I found Pure Hibiscus far too rich for my palate, it is more like a food flavouring than a Gin alternative. I mixed it with another alcohol-free gin and merchant's heart mixer to make it more palatable .”

Hey Norman! We're so sorry you didn't enjoy your Pure Hibiscus. If you're looking for something to make gin-style drinks, we would always recommend Fresh Citrus as this is the preferred choice of G&T lovers. Pure Hibiscus is very much an italian-style bitter, similar to an Aperol or similar aperitif. Please do give us a shout on info@crossipdrinks.com and perhaps we can find a Pure Hibiscus recipe that may be more to your taste. Alternatively, perhaps we could sort something out for you to try Fresh Citrus as that may be more to your liking!
