“I was interested to try this as an alternative to whisky. I found it had a pleasant, smoky aroma but it is too sweet for my palate. Pleasant mixed with ginger ale but I do prefer a drier spirit base.”

“It’s got a fab flavour - the smoke hits you immediately and then a lovely flood of warmth. It’s very smooth. It’s a tad sweet, but that’s just me, it’s probably spot on for most. I like it straight on ice. The only criticism I have is the cloudy look of it. If it was clear it would be perfect.”

Hey Steph! Thanks for your review and glad you're loving the flavour! The slight cloudiness comes from the ginger particles that are suspended in the liquid once it has been shaken. We originally experimented with additional filtration for Dandy to make it clear, but there was a heavy trade-off with the flavour, so we decided against going down that road. Hope that helps!

“We absolutely love it ,it is the best non alcoholic spirit, we've tried ,I like it with Canada dry ,my wife makes a great cocktail of dandy smoke ,mcguigan zero Shiraz ,and Gordon's zero gin ,sounds odd but it's great, keep producing it , cheers .”

“We tried Dandy smoke as an alternative to alcoholic spirits and we loved it! Simple and easy with coke or ginger ale but we also used with a variety of different mixers to create our own cocktails! We need to try the others now!”

“I've used all three drinks for alcohol-free events that I run and they have been a real hit with customers. OK, at first, the Dandy didn't go down too well but I've since discovered that that was down to my terrible mixing skills! The smokiness of the Dandy can make it a little to difficult for the novice to blend but experiment until you find a combo that works, such as with grapefruit. Or, better still, just drink it neat. Just like a fine single malt, it is perfect enjoyed on its own!”
