“I bought this because it was advertised as an 'alcohol free whisky' which it most definitely is not. It is more like a herbal medicine- did not enjoy it at all.”

Hey Amanda! We're sorry that you did not enjoy your Dandy Smoke. We do however make it clear throughout our website and communications that it has not been designed as a non-alcoholic whiskey. Dandy Smoke is inspired by dark spirits and is hence suitable to make rum- or whiskey-style drinks, but it's not a direct replacement. How have you been serving your Dandy Smoke so far? Perhaps we could suggest some recipes for you to try that may be more to your liking? Or we could see if you would like to try one of our other flavours? “The bottle has all gone (in about one sitting!)! There is something about the taste that is VERY moreish! There is a taste that I can't quite put my fingers on, and am still trying!.... It has a full and 'meaty', for want of a better word, taste - it is infused with extremely interesting ingredients... I am REALLY wanting another bottle now as I write this review. It is very chic in a rock's glass as suggested, with ginger ale... A classy and different drink. I am off to Amazon to purchase another bottle! Thank you to Crossip for creating a strong, sumptuous, and sublime drink!”

“It's delicious!! It tastes like actual, drinkable, tasty smoke; I can't get enough! I was worried that it would be disgustingly sweet in the way of non-alcoholic wine, but thankfully no. It's so complex it's almost hard to believe it's not alcoholic! The only thing I wish was that the bottle was bigger; I'm going through it far too fast.”

“It works for me as an alternative to alcohol. They have it well attuned. The question is, given no alcohol taxes apply, why is it a 50 size bottle as opposed to standard issue UK 70? And why is it as expensive as a bottle of 70cl alcohol?”

Thanks Richard! We chose to use a 50cl bottle given the shelf life of our non-alcoholic spirits.
