“I took this course as my child has struggled with mental ill health for some time and I have struggled to get the support (and sometimes even basic common sense) needed from school. I needed to find out what teaching staff should be aware of and how to handle issues. This course has given me the tools to challenge where I believe that school staff have acted solely in their interests and certainly not in the best interests of my child. I found the course to be well laid out, easy to navigate, and contained sufficient information for my needs. I also learnt a few things about other mental health conditions that I didn't fully understand. I have no reservations in recommending this course to either parents like myself, or indeed staff working within education.”

“I currently work in a secondary school and was eager to complete this course as we have a substantial amount of students suffering from mental health. Unfortunately whilst some aspects of this course could be applied across the board, I found most resources aimed at younger children of primary age.”
