“Good sound coverage of the topic from many perspectives. One disadvantage is there doesn't seem to be a reference list of where the information was sourced. To know the websites, books and literature sources enables further exploration and a chance to critically evaluate the content of the course. There may be othe perspectives around children' mental health to consider. There was acknowlegmenr of some of the sources though. The content was wide ranging though could have covered a little regarding safeguarding children and young people. Overall a good introduction to a complex topic.”

“This was my first course with CPD Online so I didn't really know what to expect. I liked that it was very well presented and easy to follow in bite-size sessions with consolidation quizes at the end of each unit. This course would be best suited to someone wanting a very basic overview of children's mental health and I'm not sure I got an awful lot from this course that I didn't already know. One error that needs correcting by the administrators - on the section on Maslow's hierarchy of needs for wellbeing, the course lists the first of the five needs (food, shelter and water) as a 'psychological' need. This is incorrect, it should read 'physiological' need.”
