“course information was detail but good but questions at the end worked more on statics than actually asking for knowledge. would of been better to ask questions in relation to what I would be using/looking for or process of dealing with the safegaurding concern than knowing how many child out of 5 are more likely to be abuse in a lifetime. but overall was a knowledgeable course”

“Content was obviously well researched and I have no doubt that it is factually accurate. However, a 100% text-based course of this length was really heavy going. Having the occasional clipart family next to the text doesn't alter that. At least with an Educare course, it speaks the text to you. I felt that the test questions were strange; A large number were numerical.. I would argue that what year some act or other was written does not matter as much to a practitioner as what the process is when handling safeguarding concerns. I felt that the FGM question was obtuse. I went back and read the page after the test, which says that it occurs before 15 and before puberty; Before 15 and Before puberty were both independent answers. The way some of the questions were asked did not make grammatical sense (regarding how many days after x should y happen), although I could figure out what they were supposed to mean. I have no doubt that this refreshed my knowledge of safeguarding procedures and demonstrates this reliably to my employer, I just feel there is room for improvement.”
