“Really informative and clear. A couple of tricky questions but overall common sense and remembering the key acts and dates for the UK helps. Def helped me understand AML much better and I now feel confident writing my own AML policy and submitting a SAR if ever I need to.”

“a well written, indepth and information course. My only gripe is the quiz at the end which you need to get a score of 24 out of 30 right in order to pass - some of the questions really are ridiculous - what year were certain laws brought out - (really does it matter what year - surely the point is what the law means and how to enforce it) and how much money is lost through fraud (whether it is 100 million or 100 billion - it is fraud and needs to be stopped - knowing the amount is not going to make someone better at spotting it and reporting it). Anyway, overall a good course, but I think the questions at the end need to be relevant to actually adopting the regulations, helping to spot fraud and knowing how to report it.”

“I have been taking AML courses for a number of years now simply because my role is on the list of those required to do so and during this time I have had some shocking experiences with online courses - not so with CPDonline. The course leads you in by telling you why we have AML, how it came into being and then giving a high level simplified but thorough overview of what can be tedious documents to read should you ever have to do so. I found the pace and explanation to be ideal for me with each of the four units following the 'Tell them what you are going to tell them, Tell them and Tell them what you've told them' approach, which is then reinforced and tested with a mini quiz. The final questionnaire is good and while one previous 'anonymous' reviewer said "silly questions that are totally irrelavant to practical application.", I would argue and say they were entirely appropriate to check what has been learned on the course. Overall, excellent value for money and the remainder of my team will now be undertaking this course.”
