“We've been aware of our 17 year old daughter experiencing difficulties with her wellbeing over the past few years but more recently she has been experiencing what we thought were just anxiety attacks due to stresses of A-levels and making difficult life decisions around uni, & career options. After walking out of her mock exams and having to leave school to come home a few times recently thought we should have a discussion with her about it. She wasnt prepared to discuss any details and felt embarrassed about having mental health issues. We phones the GP who spoke to her in confidence but then said they cant refer her, then again spoke to another private doctor who said the same - whilst keeping us Parents in the dark. I recently asked her if she had been having suicidal thoughts to which she replied 'I don't know'. At the lack of GP support, I thought I would do what I can myself to get her the help she needs. I now know how to approach these difficult conversations, help her to open up and link her to the most suitable support. Thank you.”

“very informative was useful showed satistics and available links for support available on topic. The summary was very helpful and the quizs were good way to help retain info ...a few video examples may have been more beneficial as sometimes people have different learning styles. Overal very good.”
