“This training has given me deep insights into a whole lots of responsibilities placed on me and every other person dealing with children and vulnerable adults in any given setting. It allows me to audit my behaviour and method of handling children's issues in my school, even my biological children. Now, I think my orientation of "child abuse" has changed, and with the knowledge I have gained from this training, I am well equipped and ready to make significant positive impacts in my job role of safeguarding and protecting children from all manners of maltreatment. Most importantly, I will further use my knowledge of the content of this training to create safeguarding and child protection awareness among my colleagues and my family members. The sad thing is that, the detailed and comprehensive structure, guidelines and legislations in UK are not well-pronounced or followed here in my country, partly because of cultural and environmental factors. It's only in our education setting that focus has now started being given by the government. Even with that just few schools are complying. On the whole, I'm so glad that I have received this training, and I'm going to use it to help the children around me. Kudos to you team at CPD Online College.”

“Useful and accurate introduction. All sections relevant and well presented. Mini- quiz at conclusion of each module useful in consolidation of learning. Sensible questions, out of 30, at end of course prior to conclusion. Highly efficient presentation of Certificate. Very useful and comprehensive course. Would be even more useful if theses courses were identified as L1 or L2, as with safeguarding courses.”

“I wanted to update my knowledge about Safer Recruitment, this course was perfect for that, It goes through every part of the process, and some of the units I didn't need but it's good to have that knowledge. I would have liked the chance to print out the summary at the end of the units, just for my notes.”

“Good overview of the recruitment process. Good opportunity to review our own practice and procedures. Felt the induction section was helpful. I would have preferred the inclusion of some video content. I didn't use the audio as preferred to read through the slides at my own pace. I liked that i could complete the course over a period of time rather than as 3 hours in one sitting. I liked that other team members could complete at times convenient to them (as online and available 24/7) Found some of the wording for the final quiz questions a bit ambiguous. e.g. what additional check would be made for a staff member in EYFS? The correct option was childcare disqualification (I would have chosen this option if it had been worded as a barred list check).”
