I have used this flour for the first time and made some amazing crisp, flaky pastry for a batch of sausage rolls. They were delicious! Backed up by my family and friends. Another batch now made and in the freezer - though I don't think they will last long in there! My next bake will be mince pies using this lovely flour.

Been using this for some time now Makes lovely biscuits but pastry is what it’s best at It is my hero product and I wouldn’t use any other flour for pastry

Makes beautiful crisp pastry and super biscuits and shortbread. Will never use another flour for biscuits and pastry. Matthews products are excellent.

I bought this flour as a change to normal plain flour for pastry making and really impressed. Didn’t need to use so much fat to flour ratio so that was a bonus. The end result was flaky with a crunch. Will definitely use this again. Now to make some biscuits. I love Matthews flour as like buying from family run companies, plus great products.

I was never that brilliant at making pastry ( hot hands) but using this has been an eye opener. It makes fabulous pastry- easy to use as well. Am absolutely thrilled!

This is the best pastry flour I have ever used. Made a wonderful, crunchy cracking quiche. Great flavour, but particularly the crispy texture made it so excellent. Also very easy to work with.
