“I've been using Matthews Organic Plain Flour for quite a while now for all my baking. It's marvellous for pastry and biscuits, I can feel the quality of the flour when rolling out. For cakes, I just add bicarbonate of soda and cream of tartar to turn it into self-raising flour. The flour has an excellent smooth texture and, even though I sieve it just to add some air, there's never any lumps or clumping.”

“Lovely pastry flour for pies and biscuits. Brilliant for pastry and biscuit making. Shortcrust pastry for pies is excellent. Great to have an organic alternative to a flour that is used in so many different basic recipes.”
