Each blade is made from Japanese chromium steel to reduce micro-corrosion of its cutting edge, and coated in a layer of titanium and diamond grade carbon to ensure the cutting edge stays sharper for longer.

“This is the second Cornerstone I've owned, having given the first one away to a young shaver, I bought it because now and again I like a chane from my usual DE shave. On the positive side, it's very well made with a decent weight handle nicely chromed though not slippery even when wet. The shave though is not quite as good as my usual DE shave. However, I must add that I'm a long time DE shaver and I haven't found anything to beat that. It gives an acceptable shave though, fine for the younger shaver and I'm quite happy to use it from time to time. You still need the same preparation as for DE shaving but the shave itself is quicker and you can be somewhat less careful than when wielding a DE razor. Overall it's a quality razor with a decent enough shave.”
