“I inputted details correctly into Confused.com but then the chosen home insurance supplier contacted me to tell me that details were incorrect and so my £100 compulsory excess was now having a further £1,000 added to it. I checked my quote and I had completed everything correctly but somewhere between the Confused.com system and Acorn Home Insurance system, there had been an error made.
I decided to continue with my current provider to save on the hassle of any further incorrect quotations that get changed without agreement beforehand.
I cancelled and asked for a refund from Acorn!”
