“I would have given 5 stars, but we had trouble with adding legal protection, they said because the insurance is active (although I asked before the date I had as a start date on the insurance) they couldn't add it on. I had the legal protection down on the confused.com form, but it had Marmalade as a special offer on legal protection on the day as free, but upon filling Marmalades forms it had a cost, so I left legal protection out on the form and telephoned them to check this out, as it was out of hours for a telephone call to Marmalade. I then phoned on Monday to check if it was free or at a price that I was willing to pay for legal protection. But no they couldn't add it on!! they advised me to re-do the quote and pay again for the insurance and legal protection then they would cancel my original paid insurance back. By Monday the offer on Marmalades insurance on their site or through confused.com was higher. So the other option they said do and I have now, was find a separate company that does the legal protection. I have legal protection through RAC now. But it would have been a lot easier if Marmalade just added legal protection rather than the hassle my mum and I had”
